There are 4 bookable study pods on Q+1 near the Digital Scholarship Studio. The pods can be booked for individual study (Pod 1, 2 or 4), group study (Pod 2, 3 or 4), online lectures/classes, online study skills sessions and online interviews. The pods have sound muffling to reduce noise but are not entirely soundproofed, so headphones/earbuds are recommended.
All pods contain power, independent lighting, and ventilation.
Bring your own device to use in the pod or borrow one of our laptops from our Laptop Loans service.
Due to the small size of the study pod and narrow doorway they are not accessible to wheelchair users and may be unsuitable for students using larger mobility aids.
Please book the Group Study Rooms for larger groups.
Pod 1 can be used by 1 person, Pod 2 can be used by 1-2 people, Pod 3 can be used by 2-4 people, Pod 4 can be used by 1-2 people.
