rule Booking Rules & Usage

There are 14 Group Study Rooms in Boole Library for use by registered UCC students only. They are for group study purposes only, e.g. project work and presentation practice. The rooms may not be used for tutorials, grinds or events.

Users: Registered UCC students only

In Semester

Minimum 3 persons for a maximum 2 hours per day.

Out of Semester May - August

One or two students can book, maximum 4 hours per day.

If a group study room is not available, try the Creative Zone on Q floor, which functions as an informal group study area that does not need to be booked.

If you are looking for a space for 1-2 people, book a Study Pod. Please see here for information about other options for room booking for students in UCC.

Keep the confirmation email you receive, as this is proof of booking, which you may be asked to show.

If you no longer need the room or use it for one hour instead of two, please cancel using the cancellation link in the approval email.  This will make the room available to other students to book.

If you notice any issue in the room or any equipment not working, please email library@ucc.ie so that staff can resolve the issue.

NOTE: Library Staff may cancel the booking if there has been a breach of the booking Terms & Conditions.
