The Boston Scientific Health Sciences Library is located in the Brookfield Health Sciences complex on College Road.

There are 2 Group Study Rooms in Boston Scientific Health Sciences Library in Brookfield for use by UCC registered students only. They are for group study purposes only. e.g. project work and presentation practice. The rooms may not be used for tutorials or grinds.

In semester the minimum number is 3 people for maximum 2 hours.

Booking Instructions:

  • Choose a date by clicking on the calendar icon above the grid.
  • Check for available green slots and click on one to book it.
  • You can pick up to 2 slots (slot = 60 mins.) and submit your booking times.
    (Maximum booking duration is 2 hours per group per day. Min. number is 3 people.)
  • Fill in the required information on the form. The person who books must be part of the group.
  • Keep the confirmation email you receive, as this is proof of booking and supplies a cancellation link, if needed.

NOTE: Library Staff can cancel a booking if the room is unoccupied 10 minutes after the booked time or if fewer than 3 people show up for the booked slot, you do not have proof of the confirmed booking when asked or if there has been a breach of the booking Terms & Conditions.
