Library Essentials for Staff: Finding Resources & Choosing and Using Databases (Digital Education Pre-Semester Training Programme) Online
This practical workshop is for staff looking to refresh or further develop their knowledge in searching the Library's collections and making the most of Library databases. This session will ensure you’re equipped to make informed choices on the resources you use.
Learning Outcomes
- Access supports & resources available at UCC Library
- Search the Library website to find books, eBooks, journal articles
- Access Library resources from anywhere
- Locate individual databases via the A-Z list on the UCC Library website
- Apply appropriate search techniques to retrieve information from different databases
