Eimear Reidy & Natalia Beylis - Summer Concert Series 2 In-Person
We’re thrilled to announce the second show in our summer concert series! 🎶
UCC Library & Tombstome Promotions proudly present Eimear Reidy & Natalia Beylis with special guest Roslyn Steer.
Since 2020, Leitrim-based duo Eimear Reidy (cello) and Natalia Beylis (keyboard & electronics) have been crafting evocative soundscapes inspired by forests, folklore, and environmental reverence.
Their work began with 'Whose Woods These Are', a musical research project named after Robert Frost’s poem, exploring the idea of communal ownership of nature and inviting audiences to reflect on their connection to the woods. Their debut album, released on Nyahh Records, has been performed across Ireland, merging experimental textures with the quiet mystery of the forest.
Following their debut, their second album 'She Came Through the Window to Stand By the Door', was recorded on the historic Telford organ in St. George’s Church. Rooted in early music traditions, this work intertwines cello and organ in a delicate, thoughtful dialogue that explores mood, memory, and place.
Their performances offer a subtle and atmospheric experience that invites listeners to engage deeply with sound, space, and imagination.
“Their music induces hyperphantasia… conjures something less tangible. An apparition connected to low-winter light and tumult.” – Daryl Worthington
Cork-based musician Roslyn Steer blends folk, pop, ambient, drone, and improvisation into reverb-rich soundscapes, performing solo and with groups like Crevice and the Cork Improvised Music Club.
