RESIN X Sonraí Masterclass on the CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance - Exploring the Irish Traveller experience of research Online
RESIN and Sonraí, Irish Data Stewardship Network invite you to a masterclass on the CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance.
The CARE Principles (Collective Benefit, Authority to Control, Responsibility, and Ethics) are designed to complement the FAIR Principles we all know and love and are a guide for data producers, stewards, and publishers to affirm Indigenous rights to self-determination and help us address complex issues related to privacy, future use, and collective interests, and increase the value of data for reuse. (Carroll, S, et al. 2020)
This masterclass will give attendees the opportunity to better understand the CARE Principles and explore the Irish Traveller experience of research.
