Create your own Cyanotype using UCC Library’s Special Collections and Archives

Create your own Cyanotype using UCC Library’s Special Collections and Archives In-Person

Swing by UCC Boole Library for an array of interactive and creative activities during Culture Night!

Create your own cyanotypes, a simple 19th century photographic process, more commonly known as a blueprint. Participants will have an array of materials to choose from to compose their print, including items from UCC Library's Special Collections that have been reproduced on acetate. You may bring your own items, as well, but keep the opacity of the object in mind. Porous or see-through materials, such as lace, clear plastic, or plants, will work best.

Your print is yours to keep!

No registration required but supplies are limited, so arrive early! First come first served, suited for all ages.
