Zine Making Evening

Zine Making Evening In-Person

Share your thoughts, feelings, creativity, experience, and/or knowledge with others! A zine (short for magazine or fanzine) is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images (Wikipedia). Zines are often part of a DIY (do it yourself) culture which often includes people from marginalized communities or those who don’t have access to more mainstream publishing options (zinelibraries.info).

Come express yourself in UCC Library during this Zine Making Evening. All materials and supplies will be provided as well as templates and guidance on how to make a physical zine.

This event will take place on the ground floor of Boole Library. No registration required - drop in and stay for as long as you'd like.

Please note, the entrance to the library will be through the Quad Reading Room (to the right of the main entrance) on the day of this event.
