Being FAIR with your Data Online

Please note: this is an online workshop 

During this workshop we will look in detail at the FAIR Principles of findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability and the requirements of a FAIR dataset. We will discuss how FAIR works for different types of data and disciplines, and the skills and resources required to have a FAIR dataset.  

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: 

  • Recognise and define the FAIR principles 

  • Explain and interpret the FAIR principles 

  • Apply the FAIR principles to their own data 

  • Engage in a critical assessment of FAIR and comment on the FAIRness of a dataset  

  • Evaluate commonly used data repositories for suitability and FAIRness.
