First Steps: Finding Books, Journal Articles and More (In-person) In-Person

This workshop helps you to begin searching the Library collections for the resources needed for assignments and research. We cover how to use tools such as the Library Catalogue, the OneSearch tool, the eBooks and eJournals menu, and Reading Lists. Whether you're looking for that special item on the Library shelves or exploring online information for a new topic, this workshop will provide the guidance you need. 1. Please connect any smartphones/iPhones/laptops/other devices you have to the university's Wi-Fi network 'eduroam'. This will be needed to authenticate yourself when accessing Library resources in the session. Guidance on connecting to 'eduroam' is available from the Boole or Brookfield Libraries.
