Introducing Adobe InDesign

Introducing Adobe InDesign In-Person

InDesign is a powerful page-design and production application that is used to produce professional quality, full-colour documents for physical prints and electronic publications.

The objective of this workshop is to introduce the InDesign workspace to beginners. By getting their hands on the tool, participants will become familiarized with the basic skills needed to navigate InDesign. This workshop aims to give its attendees the confidence, practical skills, and recommended resources for future self-directed learning in InDesign.

At the end of this module students should be able to:

• Navigate the InDesign workspace, including key panels, tools, and menus.
• Open a document and view, add, delete, rearrange pages.
• Use basic text formatting options like font size, style, colour, and basic paragraph formatting such as alignment.
• Insert and adjust images within their document.
• Customize their workspace.
