SUMMARY:Advanced Searching Techniques for Systematic Reviews (In person)
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed to equip researchers involved in 
 systematic reviews with advanced skills in searching techniques to ensure a 
 systematic search of the literature is undertaken for their evidence 
 synthesis project. A systematic search is an essential component of a 
 successful systematic review.\n\nAlong with instruction and demonstration 
 from librarians\, participants will engage in practical exercises and group 
 discussions to enhance their understanding of searching techniques.\n\nThis 
 class will cover :\n\n\n	Undertaking scoping searches\n	Developing a search 
 strategy using Boolean operators\n	Documenting and reporting a systematic 
 search strategy\n	Using search filters / hedges\n	Translating a search 
 strategy across different databases\n	Testing a search 
 strategy\n	Supplementary searches including citation 
 searching\n\n\nParticipants should bring their own laptops\, or borrow a 
 laptop from the Library on the day. Note: If you bring your own\, please 
 ensure that you connect it to the 'eduroam' Wi-Fi network before the
