Digital Education Pre-Semester Training: AI & Searching for Information (In-Person) In-Person

The aim of the session is to explore how large language model (LLM) tools like ChatGPT and Copilot might be used as part of the information search process. The session includes discussion, demonstrations and hands-on exercises, and consideration of appropriate use of Gen AI and critical appraisal.

This session takes place as part of a Digital Education Pre-Semester Training Programme from the Centre for Digital Education and UCC Library, taking place from August 24 to September 11. 

This three-week programme is designed to support academic staff in their teaching and learning practices ahead of the 2026/27 academic year and features a wide range of practical and engaging workshops.
