A Collaboration between UCC’s Music Department and UCC Library.

This exhibition presents artistic responses to UCC Library’s Special Collections created by students of UCC Music’s MA Experimental Sound Practice (MAESP). The students explored the rich archival content of the Collections, which includes photographs, texts, maps, and other rare materials; through creative, critical engagement with selected materials, each student has created an artwork that reimagines and reinterprets our engagement with the past.

This initiative was inspired by the interdisciplinary collaboration between UCC Library’s Digital Scholarship Studio and UCC’s Digital Arts & Humanities Institute for Digital Creativity Week in April 2024.
