Enhancing Learning Through 3D Printed Models - Lifelong Learning Festival 2026 In-Person
Discover how 3D printing is reshaping teaching at UCC. This showcase highlights the collaborative work of the Digital Scholarship Studio and academic departments in creating 3D‑printed teaching aids that support student learning. Featuring short talks from academics and hands‑on examples of printed models, attendees will gain insight into how tactile, interactive objects can enhance understanding across a wide range of disciplines.
Over the past number of years, the UCC Library Digital Scholarship Studio has collaborated with academic departments across the university to design and produce 3D‑printed teaching aids that enhance learning in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
