Small Things Like These In-Person
In collaboration with the Global Justice Society, UCC Film and Photography Society and UCC History Society, join us for a movie night hosted in the Creative Zone as part of the Wednesday Social Nights.
Cillian Murphy stars as Bill Furlong in this adaption of Claire Keegan's novel of the same name. While not an easy watch, this is a must-see film as it lays bare the horrific abuse – physical, mental, sexual – endured by the women imprisoned in the Magdalene Launderies in 20th Century Ireland.
There will be hot drinks and popcorn available - if possible, can you bring your own cup.
