Lego in the Library: Searching, Evaluating and Referencing! In-Person
Come and join the Library's brand new session! We will explore some of the key stages of using information for academic assignments and research - aided by fun with Lego!
By the end of the session, you should be able to:
- Recognise the relationship between consuming and creating information in an academic context
- Recognise the importance of a critical approach to selecting information for academic uses
- Create and critique a search strategy for a given research topic
- Locate bibliographic details required for a full reference
You do not need to have attended any previous Library sessions to join this one.
Participants should bring their own laptops, or borrow a laptop from the Library on the day. Note: If you bring your own device, please ensure that you connect it to the 'eduroam' Wi-Fi network before the session.
